Angkor Wat From a Basket Bike

May 21, 2012 by Caroline Eaton 2 Comments

There are few mornings where I’m lucky enough to see 4:00 AM flashing on my alarm clock and it’s normally to catch a flight. This time it was to bike to a big pile of rocks. Angkor Wat is typically done by signing up for a tour, or paying a tuk tuk driver for the […]

You Think You Can Bike to Kouang Xi Waterfalls?

May 3, 2012 by Caroline Eaton 6 Comments

Some things you should know: I’ve never ridden a mountain bike before. It was over 90 degrees Fahrenheit. I did not research the topography of our route. We had 2 bottles of water and 1 roll of Ritz crackers. Josh did not think it was a good idea. I consider myself to be in pretty good shape. I’m stubborn and […]

Chiang Mai Running Route

Running Map

Working out on the road is tough. Being in a new city you may not know your way around or if where you are running is a safe area. Anytime we get to settle down in a city longer than 3 or 4 days we tend to get back on our workout routine. Especially in […]

Travel Workout: The Final Countdown

April 1, 2012 by Caroline Eaton 3 Comments

Yes, in my head I hear Europe singing to me every time I do this workout. You don’t have to listen to all 5 minutes, but at least fast forward to minute 1:59 and you too can experience what I hear! A fun workout I do with some of my clients is called The Final […]

Quick Sweaty Workout

March 15, 2012 by Caroline Eaton 1 Comment

Just as the name implies, this is a quick sweaty bodyweight workout you can do at home or on the road. Josh and I completed this workout in the living room of our parent’s house as a nice break from travel planning. It ended up being pretty tough to get through all 5 sets.

Running in Kilometers

March 10, 2012 by Caroline Eaton 1 Comment

How easy it was to put on my tennis shoes and go for a run in Chicago with the Chicago marathon months away. Both Josh and I habitually ran 3 – 5 times per week without thinking about it. I believe that a runner’s high is real and addicting – and I was a living example. […]
